As a Social Media Champion for the Association for Project Management (APM) it has been enjoyable being involved in the development and support of the new APM website which went live this week.
It has been encouraging seeing the APM online community expanding from the first few blog and discussion posts to a lively arena for debate – I look forward to the discussion going forward now that more project managers are utilising and have ready access to the website.
The online community and use of other social media platforms (such as Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube etc) are excellent tools for networking, CPD and communicating.
Take a look at the online communityand involve yourself in discussion, questions and answers, blogs, latest news, specific interest groups (SIG’s), regional branch forum’s and much more – it is a great source of project management information!
